A new website has been created to allow state government to share information about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, or what is more commonly referred to as the federal stimulus package.
The Illinois website, www.recovery.illinois.gov, is designed to be more specific to Illinois compared with the federal website www.recovery.com that was set up by the federal administration.

The Illinois website home page has several different links. The “Recovery Programs” link will contain the most useful information on how the federal stimulus package will benefit legislative districts and the entire state. There are other links for independent living, environment & energy, healthcare, infrastructure, etc.
Not all of the programs have been listed yet, however, the website will be updated frequently.
